We were looking for a company that could partner with us on a solution. By chance, a trading company we were working with, introduced us to Toyo Koken.
Toyo Koken was very responsive and provided one immediate possible solution—the Balaman. They spent time getting to know our process and our challenges. In the end, after looking at other options at trade shows, we felt the Balaman was of superior quality and provided maximum value.
Our employees love the Balaman. They were suffering injuries and fatigue, and by adding the Balaman to our process, we were able to not only make the process more efficient, but drastically reduce fatigue and injuries. We now do the same amount of work with half the number of people. It really changed our business.
The Balaman is perfect for what we use it for—moving 20kg to 50kg sheet metal to a cutter.
Our employees are happier, safer, and are much more efficient. Furthermore, it was so easy for them to learn how to use. They were up and running in just a few hours.
With Toyo Koken’s support, we were able to test the Balaman that met our specifications in our own environment. Furthermore, we could test whether the vacuum end effectors would affect the plastic on the sheets as well as impact of temperature fluctuations during the process.
We are very pleased with the Balaman, and will look forward to improvements and hopefully greater cost performance in the future. We also hope to see other Toyo Koken products as shows like the Japan International Machine Tool Fair so we stay updated on their products.
